Furrows and Faith Retirement Co-operative Limited was established in December 2011 to find a means to produce respectful affordable retirement and Assisted Living housing in the Mossbank area. Membership gives a vote in the operation of the Co-operative business as well as the opportunity to become a leader on the board of directors. Living in Mossbank
Furrows and Faith Retirement Villa was started by individuals who wanted their loved ones to stay in their own community, close to family and friends and where they could continue to be involved in the activities of the community. With spending most of their lives in a rural setting, most are not happy to have to go to the city to get the care they needed. This facility has allowed them to stay in their community and also welcome others from outside to live in a rural retirement home. The community has always been behind keeping our facility going so our residents can stay in a safe, caring environment, where they could be close to nature and close to their children, grandchildren and friends. For those who may come from out of the community they will be embraced by the community and made welcome. It was decided the best way to do it would be a cooperative venture where everyone in the community would be able to be involved in the project.

Mossbank provides residents with a rural lifestyle that allow for many social and economic advantages. Free of the stresses of city life and surrounded by the beauty of the country, Mossbank residents can breathe deeply!
In Mossbank, parents raise their families safe from the crime and violence that plagues larger centres. Wide open spaces populated with birds and animals are literally in everyone's backyard. Horse riding, snow mobiling and cross country skiing are just a few of the ways residents take advantage of their closeness to nature. Mossbank features modern recreational facilities; including a swimming pool, hockey and curling rink, 9 hole sand green golf course and ball diamonds. There is a K- 12 school and three church denominations offering a choice for all faith preferences. Besides being a great place for families, Mossbank is equally inviting to the elderly with an addition of a private care home so our elderly can stay close to family and friends and enjoy the comfort of rural living with a close knit community to care for them.
Mossbank is part of the Five Hills Health Region and a Nurse Practitioner visits our health care facility three times a week. Our facility has a Nurse Practitioner that visits the facility once a week. We have weekly prescription orders and pick ups that are coordinated through Furrows and Faith. The nearest hospital we have is located in Assiniboia which is only 25 minutes away. Assiniboia also has two full service pharmacies that our facility uses. Assiniboia is the base for an ambulance services. Gravelbourg, which is only 30 minutes away, also has two doctors, a pharmacy, and a hospital.
